Who is BG Outdoor Services?

The BG Outdoor Services entity was established by the original Bio Green Outdoor Services management team to service the Bio Green non lawn care customers. Bio Green customers, including lawn irrigation systems and maintenance, landscape lighting and drainage solutions will be serviced by BG Outdoor Services going forward.

What does the acquisition of Bio Green's lawn care and outdoor pest control services division by Virginia Green mean for me?

On January 10th, 2021, Virginia Green acquired Bio Green Outdoor Services’ lawn care and outdoor pest control business. All other Bio Green services including irrigation systems, outdoor lighting and drainage solutions will be performed from the new organization BG Outdoor Services located in Sterling, Virginia.

Where is the service area for the new BG Outdoors Services?

BG Outdoor Services will continue to serve much of the Northern Virginia region, including Arlington County, Clarke County, City of Alexandria, Fairfax County, Fauquier County, Loudoun County, Prince William County, Frederick County (VA) and the city of Winchester.

When will the acquisition take place?

The acquisition has already occurred, and the changes are already in effect.

Why should I continue to receive sprinkler, landscape lighting and drainage services from BG Outdoor Services?

The leadership team, project managers and certified technicians for Bio Green’s sprinkler, landscape lighting and drainage divisions now work under the newly named BG Outdoor Services. The acquisition will not affect the quality of our work nor the customer service we provide. If anything, the streamlining of our solutions will help us focus on improving our core services for our customers.

What happens to the servicing of my account if I have both lawn care and other services, such as a sprinkler annual plan with Bio Green?

BG Outdoor Services will continue to provide excellent sprinkler service plans, with our certified irrigation technicians continuing to perform installation, maintenance and repairs. Any current and newly signed sprinkler, lighting and drainage agreements remain in force, and renewals will occur under the BG Services brand.

Statewide lawn care provider Virginia Green has taken over Bio Green’s lawn care division and will now be responsible for the maintenance of your lawn. Any renewed lawn care or outdoor pest control agreements will be generated and serviced by Virginia Green.
